For this day trip, we let the waters of city guide us through Berlin and its hinterlands. Beginning the day with an artistic interpretation of water, we start at the studio of a local visual artist. With this interactive studio visit, you will be encouraged to rethink ideas of what water can be and how it can look and feel.
From there, we will transition into water in the historical context with an interactive and exploratory walk through the inner courtyard of a now long-defunct natural health springs from the 19th century. Consider the importance of water for a city and uncover a hidden history tucked into remarkable architectural relic.
Following the water out of the city, we will drive to a lake, for a chance to lounge in the sun and learn about the natural and political history of lakes in this region. Here you can imagine the former division of East and West Germany directly in the water.
The day will close with sunset swim and a dinner at a restaurant on the shores of a lake.
